Well that is what we would normally say isn’t it, during all our Power Group sessions. We ask attendees to hold back opinions, judgement and suggestions allowing you to get your own thoughts clear before polluting your ideas and concepts with other people’s opinions and suggestions.
Like all great things the Power Group Discussion Model and Extreme Listening for Productive Thinking all have their time and place and they offer the first step to enabling you to achieve success without stress.
However if you want to achieve success without stress I suspect that you will then have to share your ideas, thoughts and even feelings with another human being. Heaven forbid that we should need to know what other people think of us.
This is where the productive discussions become essential. At this point gaining the feedback of how you have been interpreted or perceived is essential.
Power Group Plus Leadership Retreat takes you through these steps to achieve success without stress:
- Firstly you have to think Productively
- Then ask questions of others so they can think productively
- Plan your next best steps
- Review it for yourself
- Ask for feedback
- Plan your next best step
- Achieve peer support without peer pressure
