As a communication coach you would think that I would be really good at presenting myself but the truth is that my skill set is listening and noticing patterns in communication and behaviour that are preventing individuals and groups from conversing effectively every day.
I focus on what is missing to allow the group to engage and get involved. I am also very good at unravelling what is in people’s head so they can articulate it to others and I am very good at giving you the skills and confidence to create an facilitated agenda that encourages individuals to speak up and say how they really feel, rather than just what they think you want to hear.
These skills are great when you are creating an environment for others to ask questions and clarify.
Recently in a Power Group I had the privilege of working with Gavin Meikle The Presentation Doctor. He used his session to unravel what was holding him back from finishing and releasing his book. All too often we are aware that something ‘should’ be happening but can’t quite put our finger on why we don’t take action.
At Step by Step Listening we ask those questions so you can gain the clarity and understanding you need to take action.
It always great to share the success of our clients so today I would like to announce the release of Gavin’s book, which is now available on kindle via Amazon.
Price of £3.13
